Cal'donias Private
Lesson & Small Group Class days offer Swing-dance enthusiasts
with the opportunity to learn in a private and focused environment
with closer personal
attention from instructors, than would normally be achieved in
a "pack-em-in"
class or workshop.
Private Lessons and small groups are the ideal way to learn as
a beginner or to improve upon what you already know. These sessions
are often invaluable for 'trouble-shooting' on footwork &
patterns you may be having diffculty with.
The itinerary is whatever you
and your partner or small group of friends want it to be.
At Cal'donias we offer numerous vintage dance styles such as Lindy-Hop,
Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Charleston & Boogie-Woogie and you
are free to select any topic at any session. (Small
groups must select 1 topic).
ITINERARY
The day will be divided into 4, 2 hour sessions, all of which
may be booked by couples and/or small groups.
Session Times are:
1. 10.00am - 12:00 noon
2. 12:00 noon - 14:00
3. 14:00 - 16:00
4. 16:00 - 18:00
Session slots are sold/booked
on a first come first served basis. The day will only run when all
4 sesssions have been booked. We can notify you indivudually of
this in advance of the date.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Loose comfortable clothing.
A change of top, a towel and some deodorant.
Suitable footwear for dancing (leather soles preferable- your foot
must be able top turn or slide on a wooden floor - dance "trainers",
high heels, boots, fashion shoes or sports shoes are not suitable
for this course).
Pack lunch (We provide tea, coffee, water and squashes).
PARTNERS
This sessions are aimed at 'dancing couples'. Please book your workshop
places, or small groups with us as couples (1 male lead, 1 female
follow).

PAYMENT
Advance payment for courses is appreciated. We are equally happy
to accept a minimum deposit of £10 per couple, that is to
reach us at least 2 weeks prior to the event. The balance can be
paid on the day of the workshop.
REFUNDS
We regret we cannot offer refunds of deposits for cancellations
within 14 days of the event or for "no-shows" on the day
of the workshop. Early cancellations or cancellation by Cal'donias
owing to unforeseen circumstances or target numbers not being achieved
will receive a refund in full.

ON THE DAY
The venue will be open 30 minutes before the advertised start time.
Please aim to be in the venue at least 15 minutes before the advertised
start so that you can complete any
administration with us, and prepare yourself for the session.
